07 November 2014

Friday Follies...
We finally made it...the end of the week.
And it's feeling a bit MORE like November, what with a nice cool-down for our area.
Our Hooiserland weather will see us with temps climbing (?) into he mid 40s...and that's about it, folks.
Skies will become less cloudy, but not AS sunny as we'd like to see.
And no rain today, but there is rain in the forecast for tomorrow (again).
The city had said that the SOUTH part of town was supposed to get the first (of two) leaf pickups this week...
We're STILL waiting...(as usual).
Got a feeling it's gonna be a rush job and sloppy as hell.
Sure hope not.
Meanwhile, as the day unfolds, let's go get our beverage of choice and see what is going on elsewhere...
*** First of of the stack today is our "What the hell happens today, Bob?" salute to all these crazy days.
Novemver 7 -
Today has only ONE thing of note, and that's BITTERSWEET CHOCOLATE WITH ALMONDS DAY.
(who makes this stuff up?)
I guess there's a bittersweet chocolate WITHOUT almonds day out there somewhere, too?
What about DARK chocolate or MILK chocolate?
What about PECANS...or PEANUTS?
Let's not leave anyone out, right?
Here's a case for more diversity ...with chocolate, hmm?
-- And while we're at it,.let's add in Saturday and Sunday...just so we can get a jump on other days we need to know about.
November 8 -
Saturday will be COOK SOMETHING BOLD DAY, and that does NOT include any family pets (although that WOULD be rather bold)
That doesn't mean "cook the BOOKS" either.
And nothing in a can, either...they call it FROM SCRATCH for a reason.
Tomorrow is also (you're gonna love this one)...DUNCE DAY.
Now, there is a myriad of ways in which this can be "celebrated", not the least of which it thanking ALL the dunces we encounter on the roads, in stores, and especially...in GOVERNMENT...!
Have fun with that one.
Novenber 9 -
Sunday finds us with  (oh, Good Lord...) CHAOS NEVER DIES DAY..
((ahem))
I admit there are times down here where I can attest to the truth of THAT statement.
They have a MUG for this?
Makes me wonder HOW you celebrate that, though?
Here's an idea - Maybe we should make some CHAOS of our own and go out and beat up a few of the DUNCES that cause chaos in the first place?
Kinda like taking care of TWO birds with ONE stone, as it were.
Sounds like a plan to me.
Moving on...
*** There was an armed robbery yesterday and here's the lowdown:
http://wane.com/2014/11/06/armed-robbery-reported-at-three-rivers-fcu-on-bluffton-road/
This took place yesterday around 1010 hrs at the Three Rivers Credit Union, located at 6550 Bluffton Rd (on the increasingly crime-ridden SOUTHWEST side of town).
Employees described the robber, armed with a black handgun, as a light-skinned black male, possibly in his early 20s.
Working his "way through college"? Hot hardly.
He was wearing a gray Ohio State hoodie and did get away with some cash (amount undisclosed).
Something tells me this perps didn't ATTEND any "university", but he might be attending another form of "school" on the near future.
(and I hope he likes men as much as they will like him)
*** Next up, one of THOSE stories that makes you want to go...
"WTF???"
And here's the link to prove it:
http://www.journalgazette.net/article/20141107/LOCAL06/311079926/1002/LOCAL
Okay, so now we have something ELSE to blame for ids NOT learning...DARKNESS.
Like over-crowded classrooms, disruptive students, sloth, poor eating habits, drug and alcohol abuse, provocative clothing and a desire to be someplace else wasn't ENOUGH?
Please, spare me the pain of dealing with this latest manner to divert attention from the real problem.
What about all the people who attend NIGHT SCHOOL..and wind up being able to EXCEL at their chosen field?
Seems they much LIKE the darkness...conducive to making oneself BETTER, perhaps?
But, there are some that want Indiana to "embrace" the CENTRAL TIME ZONE...when we used to be perfectly fine with the EASTERN ZONE and never had to deal with changing the clocks around twice a year.
And students (in Indiana) had higher passing and graduation rates...so my question is WHY?
WHY change thing further...or better yet, WHY not change things BACK to the way they WERE?
(like lose Daylight Saving Time forever)
Just another thing that costs MONEY to study for no good reason, and something to get our minds looking at something OTHER than what we SHOULD be watching. Just hold the kids AND the parents accountable - problem solved.
*** Here's a story that has GOT to shake the resolve of even the most STAUNCH of "global-warming" proponents...
http://www.journalgazette.net/article/20141107/NEWS03/141109577
Ahh, simmer in Alaska...(brrrr anyway)
Alaska is not known for it's mild climates...that's a given, and it can have some of the harshest winters around, but here we have a REAL storm hitting the Aleutians this weekend, bringing frigid temps to he lower 48 states next week.
How's THIS for global warming?
Stop already with the warming thing...!
And, even IF the world is getting a tad "warmer", because of more CO2 in the atmosphere, isn;t that a GOOD thing for CROPS and food yields? Aren't there still people starving and would that not help them?
Now, if we want to talk climate change...that's doable, because the CLIMATE does CHANGE...every damn day, in fact.
But, let's not toss reason to the four winds and go bat-sh$t crazy over the oceans boiling, for they are not...nor are the glaciers melting away and the polar bear population dwindling...quite the reverse.
So let's just let this planet and it's OWNER, Mother Nature do her thing, and butt the hell out.
*** Last back to the barn...you have to pick your battles whenever you can, and by that, I mean the powers that face us every day.
It's not really a battle like in a combat setting, but it can be a clash of wills, or ideas, or even ideologies.
Lord knows there are enough things that we can fight against in today's world, but we have to pull back and regroup more on the "homefront", and that means taking care of business a lot closer.
Such "little" things like not living beyond our means, being frugal, wanting to save a few bucks here and thee are the things we can find on our own "battlefields'" every single day.
Much of this pertains to common sense...and reason...and being able to make good calls when required, and more importantly, making as few BAD calls along the way.
We might slip ip once in a while, but it's all part of a learning experience...and a part of life.
And life just happens to be the ONE place we spend the MOST TIME...isn't it?
So have yourselves a great weekend.
Be well, make a difference to someone today, an as always...
Stay SAFE out there, America.

06 November 2014

A Thought-Filled Thursday...
We're fast closing in on another weekend, but we're still got two more days to get through to reach that mark. Let's try and make the best of them.
Our Hoosierland weather looks to be starting out a bit on the "moist" side.
We'got some light showers dotting the landscape today, which should subside later on.
Guess that means the sun will make it's appearance later as well, right?
Temps will struggle to reach to 50 degree mark today, so expect something more in the upper 40s.
Now, on to more important things, so grab yourselves a morning drink and let's get rolling...
*** First out of the storm-front today is the answer to our WHO SAID THAT? quote of the week:
"Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master."
If you latched onto the "clue" I gave, you know these to be the words of the Father of our nation, as well as our FIRST President, none other than George Washington (22 February 1732 - 14 December 1799).
And if you want to bone up on his life and times (or just want a refresher course), HERE is his WIKI:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Washington
Have to say he has a lot more quotes than you might think, and every one of them is damn near as applicable TODAY as they were when he first spoke them.
I think it's good that so much of his words have been preserved for the ages, and I'm sure that he would be amazed to see that so much of his life has been remembered for so long...and by so many.
Moving on...
*** Next up..."What the hell happens today, Bob?"
(I'm so glad you asked)
November 6 -
Today is MAROONED WITHOUT A COMPASS DAY (...I kid you not), and there is no doubt a waning interest in what a compass really IS these days, and also how it's used, given all the electronic "help" out there like GPS navigation.
I still have the compass my Father had during WW2...works like a charm,. and yes, being able to read a compass should be another one of those "second-nature" aspects to life, just as being able to READ A DAMN MAP  (they do go hand-in-hand).
It's also SAXOPHONE DAY
(Bill Clinton never really stopped "blowing HIS horn", did he?), so if you want to check out some videos online or put on some smooth jazz, you'll find lots of good music, fronted by someone playing a sax.
Meanwhile, back in the orchestra pit...
*** Seems there is a big deal over the grading of SCHOOLS in Indiana, and why exactly IS that?
I thought the STUDENTS were the ones to be graded?
Here's the story link:
http://www.journalgazette.net/article/20141106/LOCAL04/311069996
And here is a list of the schools in the immediate area (Allen County):
http://www.journalgazette.net/article/20141106/LOCAL04/311069970/0/SEARCH
And, here is a link to a story that has some pondering the appellate grading of certain schools:
http://www.journalgazette.net/article/20141106/LOCAL04/311069993/1002/LOCAL
Now, we didn't do THIS when I went to school...and schools performed pretty much THE SAME in this regard.
But today, they say we "need" this grading system  to better track TEACHER performance, and thereby assess raises for the educators. It also holds administrators to task for their job performance.
Show them the MONEY...!
Add to this, funding from OUTSIDE sources is at play here, and the amount of funding is determinate upon the SCHOOL performance.
When did the educational system get it's head THAT far up it's own ass?
Anyone stop to figure out that it's the STUDENTS that really determine the performance of ANY school?
(and this includes parental involvement, which makes better students)
When a kid comes to class ill-prepared, doesn't care to learn, falls asleep, and is basically a millstone around the system's neck, why blame the SCHOOL...or the EDUCATOR?
To me (and tis is just my opinion), it's a convenient way to MASK the REAL problem, which is what a LOT of federal agencies love to do, in order to justify their own existence.
Better to blame the educator or the school, rather than a student for failing grades...for God's sake that's like blaming a GUN for shooting someone, rather than the person holding it.
Gimme a break here.
Granted, there are a few bad teachers, but they're usually weeded out soon enough.
Wake the hell UP, dumbass!
The thing is that you have MORE bad students than teachers...so the only way the government can claim ANY legitimacy is to shift the blame to the schools and educators...ergo the GRADING SYSTEM for them...it all fits together like the puzzle it truly is.
Thing, is, many can see past it to the truth...getting that truth out and getting schools back to a level of pride we used to have back in MY day...there's the challenge.
*** Next, I hear "da prez" is wanting to have the newly-elected Republican leaders to a "dinner" at the White House.
((...rolls eyes...))
...you have GOT to be kidding me, right?
If I were any of them, I would send along an RSVP stating I cannot attend, because:
"I'm very busy working with my fellow conservatives in an attenpt to UNDO the clusterf$ck that you and your minions have thrust upon this nation and her people for the last six years, but thanks anyway...I'll take a rain-check...and I much prefer REAL food...not grass, grains, and tofu".
Now to ME, that would send a message...a STRONG message that the GOP will not be trifled with...or the people that elected them.
But, we all know THAT would never happen...still it's nice to DREAM, right?
*** We had a stabbing on the (where the hell else?) SOUTHEAST side last night.
Here's the story link:
http://wane.com/2014/11/06/police-investigate-plaza-drive-stabbing/
This happened around 2330 hrs in the 5100 block of Plaza Drive.
FWPD have no suspect and don't know whether the person was stabbed in a house or outside.
The vic was transported to hospital in serious condition.
No other information is available.
Now, talk about some AMBIGUITY here...seems we're seeing MORE of this since "Green-Light Garry" has taken over as the chief.
And this fits right in with the police radio going encrypted, so average people can no longer listen in.
It's like the FWPD has this "cone of silence" in effect, and only doles out dribs and drans of information when they feel like it.
Didn't work well THEN, either.
Not the best way to seek help from the populace, is it?
An INFORMED PUBLIC is one of the greatest "assets" that ANY police department can have, but you're not gonna have that happen under THESE conditions. Guess this is the only way to keep the public from finding out that crime around here is indeed going UP?
Would make sense, given the sheer number of calls that pertain to such criminal activity.
*** Last back to the precinct house...there is a saying I've used here a few times - KNOWLEDGE IS POWER,or it's Latin Equivalent, SCIENTIA EST POTENTIA, and that knowledge comes at a price, although it's not unaffordable.
Knowledge comes from the acquisition of INFORMATION...simple as that.
You don't embrace information, don't expect to become knowledgeable...or powerful...or even smart.
And that applies to character development.
Information, even in it's most basic form opens doors to such things as TRUTH, and Lord knows we can always use more of that these days.
It provides us a point of reference...a starting point, an ending point, or a point of continuation
When you read history and discover people from the infancy of this nation, THEY were an INFORMED people, even if they didn't have the levels of "education" we have at our disposal today.
They spoke better, corresponded in more eloquent terms, and conducted themselves in a better demeanor.
Even men of industry like Henry Ford, who wasn't all that educated, was STILL a very WELL-INFORMED person, and made strides in manufacturing and millions of dollars as a result
Now, I said all that to say this...each of us has the exact same opportunity to become every bit as informed as the next person barring any mental or physical limitations.
Yeah, that's ME.
It is our God-given right to be informed, and that begins with US...we have to learn or teach ourselves to be as well-knowledged as we can be, and the fruits of such labors will survive long past our meager lives.
So, take some time to learn something today...anything...become more informed than you were yesterday. it's to YOUR benefit.
Therein lies the lesson...
Be well, make a difference to someone, and...
Stay SAFE out there, America.

05 November 2014

Humpday Happenings...
Twas the day after the elections and all through the house, the dems were all claiming their boss was a louse...
Okay, so it ain't Shakespeare, but it sets the tone in D.C. for the next 2 years, right?
Welcome to Wednesday, and all the fun that comes with it.
Our Hoosierland weather will see us with partly cloudy skies today to start with, giving way to more sunshine, and a high maybe reaching 55 degrees
We did get that rain yesterday, but I don't think we're in for any more until later this week (and the weekend, of course).
So, sit back, take it easy, fill up that morning cup of fortitude and let's meander around and see what's going on...
*** First out of the spare parts bin is our WHO SAID THAT? quote of the week:
"Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master."
Sounds a lot like what we see, hear and read about in our capital these days.
So, WHO said that?
The answer at the top of tomorrow's post.
Meanwhile, back at Valley Forge...
*** And, it's also time for our feature "What the hell happens toay, Bob?"
November 5 -
The USofA gets a "day off", so....we trek across the pond to the UK.
Today is GUY FAWKES DAY and here is the WIKI to go along with it.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Fawkes_Night
It's also called GUNPOWDER DAY (in the UK)
Now, if any have you have seen the movie V FOR VENDETTA, then you know something about November the 5th.."...a day which should never ever be forgot". as the protagonist in the film exclaims over the airwaves in a future dystopian England.
One of many nursery rhymes goes like this:
(From the movie)
Read the history and know the WHY behind it all.
Moving on...
*** So, the GOP has wrested back control of the SENATE, and made it's majority of the HOUSE even larger...well well well, now let's see what THEY can do with this clusterf$ck that the dems have created over the last several years.
Don't let the door hit 'ya in the ass...
Harry Reid will no longer be the senate majority leader -(boo-f$cking-hoo).. Now there's reason to celebrate all by itself - break open some bourbon and pour three fingers.
Personally, if this were times past, he might have been hanged for TREASON...along with a LOT of others in D.C. (and I think you know who they ALL are).
But, is Mitch McConnell any better?
Oh, God...they LOOK ALIKE...!
I don't really know, but I'm not betting the farm on that. Just a feeling I have.
McConnell doesn't appear AS conservative as a conservative should be...meaning he seems more the (very) moderate, so I won't be holding my breath to see ALL the stuff that Obummer and his minions forced upon us to GO AWAY any time soon. Some have cited the same gridlock.
Not to mention (as I already have) Da Prez will no doubt use that nasty "executive order" BS to shove a crapload of things we don't want PAST CONGRESS, to the chagrin of the informed masses.
He STILL has a pen...and a phone (damn).
He's probably already "warming up those pens" of his.
Don't think this has not already been foreseen (Cripes, now I sound like the emperor from Star Wars...lol) and has been a contingency plan BY the dems for some time...just as a way to stifle ANY of the GOP plans to undo wasteful spending, failed plans and the like.
We shall certainly see, won't we?
*** Now before any of you bestow the moniker of "Prophet" upon me...DON'T.
I'm just a "messeneger" and yes, perhaps also a voice in the wilderness, but it doesn't take any level of prophecy to see through certain things and make a good call.
Case in point, today's METRO section in the J-G, and here's the story link:
http://www.journalgazette.net/article/20141105/LOCAL/311059987/1002/local
Yep...the headline reads: ANNEXATION BID OFF US 30 DRAWS FIRE.
Now, who could have seen this coming?
((Raises hand))...ME, that's who.
And, I just said it YESTERDAY...imagine that.
THIS is what the city does...time and again, and few seem to figure it out.
They want to put an "upscale corporate office park" in the NORTHWEST area now containing farmland. Thought we NEEDED more farmland?
But, according to Greg Leatherman, Community Development Director (ad infinitum) it's an"idea" and no REAL plans have been set.
Hey it's not where I live...
So, we tell the people ONE thing...then do ANOTHER, after we get this thing passed...is THAT it? (got it)
Now, how much you want to wager that City Council rubber stamps THIS one (as they seem to do to damn near everything else)?
Meanwhile, what about the SOUTH side of town?
There IS farmland SOUTH of the city...just as ready for something else to be stuck there.
What about areas around the airport? Got farmland THERE, too.
Nope...sorry, not in the "masterplan"...
Annexation...to INCREASE an eroding TAX BASE...typical fall back plan in every city that has a growing number of immigrants (legal AND illegal) most with a welfare mentality, adding into those already sucking at the government's teat (for decades).
We call that institutionalized poverty...manufactured welfare for those too damn lazy to get off their asses and become as productive as those NOT playing this perverse game.
Well, you read about it here...first.
*** Last back to the "Fortress"...this whole take back of the Senate by the GOP should not be without the republican party embracing those in the TEA party, because they helped vote these people in.
THIS is why you won.
Enough with the animosity directed at the tea party and all true conservatives in general.
The people have spoken, and in some way a "sleeping giant" has been awakened once again.
The GOP has the ball, the clock is running, and it's "third and long"...time for some REAL game-play.
We need to hold those newly elected accountable to do something to change the course this nation has been set on for the last several years.
No compromising...no caving in...basically zero-tolerance.
This is an "all hands" situation that needs to be taken care of ASAP.
Hopefully, we, the people have learned MUCH from 2008 and with democrat "rule", in that what they proposed and offered was NOT in the best interest of this nation.
And perhaps, such knowledge can be put to much better use moving forward.
We can but hope.
Be well, make a difference to someone, and...
Stay SAFE out there, America.

04 November 2014

Tuesday Tidbits...
Not a bad November day out there...the rain has arrived  TODAY (instead of yesterday as originally predicted).
Still, it's coming was like a jail-on-wheels.
It will serve to keep us in the moderate range today.
Our Hooiserland weather will find us with temps reaching into the upper 50s (not as high as Monday's 63 degrees, but we'll take it).
Remember, it won't be long before we're cussin' at the SNOW on the ground...lol.
So, sit back, pour a soothing cup of your favorite morning drink and let's see what's been going on elsewhere, shall we?.
*** First off of the hat rack is our "What the hell happens today Bob?" feature:
November 4 -
"How'd he get so funky?"
Today is KING TUT DAY, and if you're in the mood, feel free to sing along with Steve Martin's song...or you can read up on how the tomb of the "boy king" was found...the youth had some physical issues by the score...
It's also U.S. General Election Day, and we all know what THAT means...
The nation you save MAY be your OWN.
Illegals by the score voting for dumbocrats, as well as other forms of rampant voter fraud, ALL designed to keep those in power...well, IN POWER (longer).
I really don't plan to get into that hairball of an issue...not right now anyway.
Moving on...
*** Okay, so I'm typing away yesterday morning, and my mouse decides to throw a fit - starts jumping all over the place and sporadically freezing, re-sizing photos by itself, and generally becoming an R.P.I.A.
NEVER had that happen before...in all the years at the computer...seemed like "someone else" had control of the damn system.
(it has been known to happen with the level of hacking going on these days...gotta love technology).
And naturally, I've graduated from the OLD-style of trackball mouse into the new OPTICAL muse with USB port (that I bought an adapter for, so I could STILL utilize the original mouse port).
Been working fine for years...until yesterday.
Turns out the MOUSE was faulty...the optics were flicking on and off, and when it's off - no movement.
Well, since we already have THREE mouse replacements (new and at-hand), it as simple enough to swap it out. I mean, when you can grab a replacement on eBay for as LOW as $2, it behooves one to "stock up", right?
Like I said yesterday...nothing is built to LAST any longer, but as long as "the price is right" (inexpensive), we can make due.
Now, I'm looking for cheap keyboards (where the letter have NOT been rubbed off the keys...lol), and other peripherals...
*** Next, is our famous (or is that infamous?) Signal 113 calls for the week:

========================
And, as usual, the majority are on the SOUTH side of the city...
*** Next up, I was busy doing the "leaf" thing yesterday (again).
Lookin' good...
Managed to get some decent piles all along the property line (as required) so when the city comes by (this week is SUPPOSED to be the 1st pickup) all will be ready...making work easier for a government employee...what have I done?
Lookin' REAL good...
The leaf blower has made a big difference over the years we've owned one...save wear and tear on the old body.
But it pisses me off when you take the time to get everything set along the berm, only to have some ignorant Latina park all over the pile when they pick up their kids from school.
You ARROGANT wetback bitch!
I stated before that OUR intersection is not that conducive (a bit on the NARROW side) to a school bus stop, but since FWCS has seen fit to block my emails (they must hate to hear they're wrong), it's a real UPHILL battle to get the stop moved to a larger and less occupied intersection (like the one two streets over on Avondale, where a former city building has sat empty since we moved here in 1997. That's a great corner to have a bus stop...nice and OPEN, and plenty of "parking" for the (gov't-sponsored)  "mamasitas" to congregate in their POS vehicles.
Some day, a lot more people will wise the hell up...just NOT today, unfortunately.
*** We have not seen our "bunny" friend stop by for a few days, but our squirrel buddies are pretty much a daily affair.
"Patches" stops by to say "hi"...and for peanuts.
And the birds also frequent both the feeder as well as the suet cake, and YES, the suet basket is STILL attached to that branch/pole...hasn't been spirited away like the other one was.
Goes to show that COAT HANGER WIRE is a pretty decent method to affix anything to anything else.
*** I saw a story the other day about a black business man who actually expanded his business (Madea's Soul Food , of all things), and I keep thinking "how many of those venues can you support, even down HERE?"
We already have WAY too many convenient stores, which have a tendency to get robbed on a fairly regular basis, and we have the "ethnic" stores, catering to a SPECIFIC clientele, such as the hair and nail places ("beauty salons?") and the eateries.
If this city prides itself so much on diversity, WHERE the hell is it DOWN HERE?
It's as if this part of the city were nothing more than a "novelty" where people drive through, like some safari park, windows rolled up, and encouraged NOT to "feed the wild animals".
Now, to ME, that doesn't exactly spell PROGRESS, either societally, or economically.
For example, the LAST time we had a BOOKSTORE down here was when the former Southtown Mall was still open...ditto for a real music store, clothing shops, and even a CINEMA.
And you'd think that (city council-hack of the 6th district) Glynn Hines would be trying to get something MORE moving when it comes to economic revitalization...sorry, but ONE small food business does NOT a revitalization make, my friends.
The best we seem to be able to do is put up MORE "low-income" housing (that costs taxpayers millions). Guess this is to replace all the former low-income housing trashed by the entitlement mindset lot.
Meanwhile, the NORTHERN part of the city keeps growing and expanding...you watch, it won't be long before we hear of another "annexation" in order to expand the city FURTHER north (or west).
I guess what pisses me off so much, is that those in city government don't even have the decency to tell any of us to our faces that they don't give a rat's ass about us down here, and to me, that's WORSE than telling me the TRUTH of the matter, which is what I just stated above.
They continue to lie to us and want us to believe that the SE is doing "okay", when we're far from it.
Look at the shooting stats ever week.,..or the armed robberies...or the ASSAULTS and FIGHTS...we got some serious issues down here, and they're just NOT being addressed at ANY level. That's pretty damn sad.
*** Last back to the storm cellar...today is election day, and hopefully, the GOP wins back the Senate and maintains the House.
At least we can see the PATH...
However, this doesn't mean any of us are "out of the woods" yet...it just means the Libtards will try another tactic...personal attacks for one thing.
That's their hallmark, when they have NOTHING to debate anyone with...typical.
It also means that our "fearless leader" will have a stack of items on his desk, all ready for more "executive orders" to BYPASS CONGRESS...another predictable ploy (and unfortunately, a decent one).
Personally, when it comes to all these socialist, PC, progressive idiots, I have a much better solution to the current problem (but there's never the right person around when you truly NEED them, if you get my drift).
I still believe in this country and ALL that she stands for, and I believe in the majority of people who make the nation great.
It's the morons who insist on running the show that shakes my resolve in this matter...those who "feel" they need to take care of us in every facet of our lies...like we're too damn dumb to KNOW better, or to DO better, or even to BE better.
This arrogance on their behalf is the problem, and WE are the solution.
We know us better than they can ever hope to, so why not get them to back off and allow us the dignity, as well as the God-given RIGHT to proceed in a manner more befitting who we are as a people and a nation.
We might just learn to like it...the way we used to.
Be well, make a difference to someone, and...
Stay SAFE out there, America.
(and remember - vote EARLY and vote OFTEN - the democrats do!)
