It's feeling a bit like the movie Groundhog Day around here...same weather pattern for the last three mornings, not that it's all that bad (read pretty damn quiet - something rarely found down here in the ghettohood).
Nice to be able to hear oneself THINK for a change (something the section 8 freeloaders have real issues with).
Still, we'll not let the rain soak our spirits, hmm? So...onward and upward.

And those fairies in all the pastel shades might be wearing something more akin to Darth Vader, if some folks get their way...all in the name of "diversity".

Personally, I really LIKE the color BLACK...owned a black car for 26 years...like black clothing, too (only until they make a DARKER COLOR...LOL), and yes, I think NINJAS are COOL! So, I've got no problem with the color of a witch's hat...when it fits the venue.
I guess we'll be seeing the Lone Ranger's (white) hat change color in future DVD releases?
And yes, even white PAPER used in school might be slid aside for more "diverse" colors of paper for the kids...how "quaint".
When I was growing up, INK was black...so was CHARCOAL...and PENCILS. Car & truck tires are BLACK, too, and none of this stuff promotes RACISM...does it?
Now, if a minority of the "black" population tends to commit a greater number of crimes (and that's straight from the DoJ, folks), then I would take that to mean that the COLOR black is still not in question, but perhaps the PEOPLE INVOLVED...
And when they commit those crimes against WHITES in larger numbers, that's still no reason to pull white paper from the classroom...in ANY country.
Good and evil are best sized up the same way you take people...ONE PERSON-AT-A-TIME.
No racism there (unless DUMBASSES are considered a "race" now, which would help me out in decision-making a lot).
So, be careful what's getting shoved into your child's brain these days....
*** Next up...I really liked the (short-lived) sci-fi show FIREFLY...even got me the entire DVD set.
Lots to like about it, aside from some good acting and really great story lines...
But, apparently in Wisconsin, some folks at the University of Wisconsin - Stout don't cotton to the truth in the show, even if it's displayed by a THEATER PROFESSOR, all that much, as demonstrated by THIS story (from the Blaze once again):

Now this sure stomps the hell out of that FIRST AMENDMENT, doesn't it?
I included the poster to show you how "vile" and sinister and disgusting it is....(my tongue is in my cheek, naturally).
Now, I'd take this poster to mean that Captain Malcolm Reynolds (Nathan Fillion's character) is speaking plain the truthful here...and is actually demonstrating some FAIRNESS (by not shooting someone in the back, or when they're not expecting it).
Seems plain and simple enough to this transplanted city boy...
I'd be happy to display this poster...thinkin' about getting one NOW.
I think this university might want to reconsider their options here, because it smells like they got a big crop of FASCISM growing up there.
I'm just sayin'...

This story was updated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27.
ABOUT 11 P.M. on Sept. 9, dozens of youths with bats and pipes descended on a tidy residential area of Port Richmond looking for white teens who allegedly had attacked an African-American kid at Stokely Playground a couple of hours earlier.
Two fearful white teens spotted Mark LaVelle on Indiana Avenue near Belgrade Street and asked for help. Suddenly, the mob appeared. LaVelle, who said that he didn't know the two kids, who looked to be 13 or 14, ran with them into his nearby house.
" 'We got you, you white mother-------!' " LaVelle said he heard someone yell in the "mob" of black and Hispanic youths.
Inside his house, LaVelle, 37, called to his wife, Kim, 30, to go to their bedroom with their twin 13-month-old boys, Mark and Mason, and to call police. He also ordered his two other sons, 11 and 17, and his nephew, 7, to stay upstairs.
With the two teens hiding in the house, LaVelle, 5 feet 10, 220 pounds, a well-known sports-league organizer and coach in the community, went outside to try to calm the angry mob.
They were standing on his steps. One shouted, " 'Something's going to happen now!' " LaVelle recalled in an interview Friday at his house. LaVelle got nervous and went back inside, locking his door with a deadbolt.
But the attackers pounded on his front windows and kicked his wooden door so hard, it flew open and some of them entered his house.
"The first guy hits me with a pipe. The second guy knocks me in the face. All I'm hearing is my wife and kids screaming," said LaVelle, who feared that the next time they saw him, he would be in a casket.
He said that he was able to push the attackers out the door, but then a third man - who had a gun - tried to extend his arm. LaVelle grabbed onto the gunman's lower arm and shoulder so he couldn't raise the weapon. Then, police sirens screamed in the neighborhood, and the mob turned and ran.
LaVelle was able to identify three of the people from the melee. He said he did not know if they had been chasing the white teenagers, or if they were just trying to find someone to attack.
Police arrested Bergson Morin, 21, of Rosehill Street near Wyoming Avenue, Feltonville, as the man with the gun. They arrested Enrique Delgado, 32, of Rockland and C streets, Feltonville, as the man who hit LaVelle with the pipe. And they arrested a 17-year-old juvenile as the one who punched LaVelle in the face, giving him a black eye. ))
Even when you DO retreat into your house, these thugs will stop at nothing to satisfy their need for violence...
Now, how much you wanna bet that THIS instance will not be labelled "racially-motivated" ???
I'd like to see it pursued as JUST THAT...because it WAS...plain and simple.
If not for the timely intervention of the PPD, this could have turned out a LOT worse.
And if Mr. LaVelle had a HANDGUN, we'd have a few LESS animals roaming the streets of Philly, seeking to prey on innocent people.

I agree with the author of the post 100%...after all, I "live the adventure" daily down here in the crotch of Fort Wayne.
I would contend that the POLICE have not "lost control" of the streets (per se), but rather the streets have been given over to the wrong element in the name of diversity and double-standards.
I'm used to hearing people shouting at one another half a block away, and even fighting near the house (when not ON the lawn, that is)...
Funny thing...when we had a predominantly WHITE population down here, we had ZERO such occurrences...wonder why THAT was? Oh, and we had FEWER POLICE CALLS in the area...when this place USED to be a neighborhood, instead of the nicely devolved ghettohood it is today. Wonder why THAT was, too.
Now, I certainly didn't change, and neither did the missus (or even the cats), so what DID really change?
Ahh...musta been the PEOPLE.
And those that moved into all the once white-owned houses have seen fit to display that for which they're best known...namely MAYHEM and CHAOS.
(well, everyone;s gotta have a "hobby", I suppose)
Still, if I should ever find myself in a situation like Mr. LaVelle, I plan to practice about "230 GRAINS OF DIPLOMACY", and anyone familiar with ballistics and ordnance knows EXACTLY what I mean. That's me..."Mr. Urban Renewal"...LOL.
Let's not cross that bridge though, until and unless we come to it, hmm?
All I can say is to be watchful every day...with yourself, your home, vehicle and especially your children.
And remember that thugs such as those need NO reason to act like wild animals...because they simply ARE.
(wish the zoo would take 'em all in...I'd actually pay to go see 'em...behind bars, where they all belong)
