Today is ArmedForcesDay...
And here are a few reminders, lest we forget.
Just a way of saying WE stand by ALL of you in EVERY branch of service...and we SHALL NEVER forget.
I wish we'd have the kind of PARADES Da took me to as a child back in Philly along the Ben Franklin Pkwy...those were great to see, and really brought home ALL that our service personnel doevery day for all of us.
I have (former and present) a lot of friends and family in the military and it is hard to forget what they do for me and you and everybody else in this great country of America...as my cousin who is in the army infantry says, "freedom is a flavor only those who defend it truly know."
I grew up in a family that had lots of military in it - I met my husband in the Navy - Armed Forces Day doesn't get the recognition it deserves - my brother in law was in the Marines, I have a niece and nephew in the Marines, Always support the military! They do a rough job for small amount of pay.

Without all of our service men and women, we'd all be screwed. I personally thank each and everyone of them
