We'll have a barrel of..."fun"?Today is (if you haven't heard by NOW) the media-frenzy that will be quaintly called the White House Beer Fest.
Our fearless leader will be "hosting" Professor Gates from Harvard (where they OBVIOUSLY do not have ANY courses related to RACE RELATIONS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT), and Sgt. Jim Crowley of the Cambridge PD (where they obviously DO have such courses...that HE teaches).
Time to dig out the Tylenol (for ME, anyway).
On The O'Reilly Factor last night they had two intersting POVs on Sgt. Crowley going to this (non-apology) Apology Party.
On the one hand, if he DID NOT go, it would send a message (like patrolling MY streets is a lot more important), while on the other hand, if he DID go, he would be representing about 95% of ALL the LEOs in the nation, and THAT would send a much stronger message.Initially, I would have stayed the hell home, but after listening to the commentary, I'd much rather be a bigger man and show up, but STILL maintain the dignity AS a police officer...and make it KNOWN to all involved, regardless of rank OR privilege of the other attendees.
But this particular instance is only the tip of a MUCH larger iceberg; that being one of RACE RELATIONS.
(cue the theme music from JAWS.....dumdumdumdum...)Now, a lot of people won't even bother to go anywhere near this "touchy" topic, but in order to understand it, one has to be given the FACTS, in order to better comprehend the situation, and NOT how it's presented by the MSM.
Race relations in America (today), pretty much SUCK...period!
And here's why...
You have this faction within the BLACK community that will ALWAYS harbor "ill-will" towards whitey...simple, huh?Sure, we KNOW all those nasty slave-owners are long dead, and the black man has been given CIVIL RIGHTS and permitted the SAME amenities as his white counterparts, but that's not NEARLY enough.
MOST black people have indeed embraced the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, have endeared themselves to ALL of America, moved beyond bias and hatred and have moved on in THEIR lives. They truly ARE a credit not only to this NATION, but a credit to their own RACE.
BUT...
There are still those that want MORE. They demand MORE, and, in many cases, are willing to TAKE MORE from anyone who might happen to be white (or any other race).
They are not beneath assaulting their OWN people to achieve their own means.
This same faction embraces chaos, anarchy, and has formed a "sub-culture", that is firmly entrenched within this nation, designed solely to elevate THEMSELVES beyond anything resembling EQUALITY.To THEM, it's all about SUPERIORITY.
And that stems from an INFERIORITY complex.
Think about it.
To this "minority of the minority", it's ALL about BIGGER, BETTER, SHINIER, LOUDER....more, more, more.
It's NEVER about WHO YOU ARE (or who you can become), but it IS all about WHAT YOU HAVE (or what you can steal in order to have). It's about hustling, pimping, dealing, and banging.
One becomes defined by WHAT THEY HAVE or STREET CRED...nothing less will do.
It's NEVER about self IMPROVEMENT. There is NO dignity, NO honor, NO integrity, and certainly NO conscience.
And our government has seen fit NOT to punish, or even attempt to BETTER these people, but has instead decided it's better to just GIVE them whatever they whine, bitch, piss and moan for.
Case in point...the recent Black Panther (and this IS a black supremacy group) "voter intimidation" fiasco (of which Philly was front and center).
Instead of JAILING these thugs (and investigating their actions), the court case was DROPPED (and on the same day as this "beer-fest" in Washington)...how convenient, hmm?
But, by the same token (and I'm not, I repeat NOT advocating ANY white-supremacy groups out there...I detest THEM as much as the BLACK ones), "if" the KKK were to come to town, the police would be ALL over them like white on...well, sheets?
Whenever it comes to police work, we keep hearing about racial "bias", and racial "profiling", when we SHOULD be talking about CRIMINAL bias and profiling.
I believe that we, as a nation of extremely diverse (and basically good) people, have a level of tolerance unsurpassed across the globe, but when situations are coerced into elevating one group PAST another, well...we've got a problem.Take our educational system...
They can't seem to bring UP the standards of the black kids (and this refers to MOSTLY those from poor areas of inner cities...certainly NOT ALL of them), so they LOWER the standards of everyone else, and call THAT "levelling the field".
It's like if you can't raise the bridge...lower the river.
Yeah, right.
Race relations are taking a turn for the worse, especially in the inner cities.Hell, even the Hispanics are fighting back...look at L.A.
Hispanics are tired of all the crap these "minorities of the minority" bring to THEIR community, and while their solution isn't all that legal (shooting them dead), you have to admit that it makes one helluva statement.
But, drastic times DO call for drastic measures.
In MY neighborhood, I'd love to just take a 1/2 stick of dynamite to ALL these rentals, clear the damn area the hell out, and start ALL OVER AGAIN. Save the city a TON of money and solve a LOT of their problems in the process, too!
But never fear, friends...we STILL have "BEER-FEST"!
Down a few Budweisers, and ALL will be forgiven, and we'll ALL act like none of this EVER happened, right?
Well, that's the ghetto way of doing things (which never works, btw).
Hell, how about breaking out some "medical marijuana" in the process and really get a buzz on?
Oh, wait, that would ONLY work in San Francisco...never mind.
Race relations DO suck in America, and the sad part about all this is that this minority of the minority will make it increasingly more difficult for the mainstream blacks to function. Sooner or later, sides will have to be chosen, and the blacks that are doing their jobs, keeping out of trouble, educating their kids and doing the RIGHT thing will be unfairly caught in the middle.
I've said for more than a decade that a "new civil war" was brewing (no pun intended with the beer fest in D.C.), and it wasn't going to be North against South this time. If anything, North will be UNITED with South against a common foe.
I'm not trying to foment some sort of revolt against ANY group of people, but fair is fair. And DoJ crime stats are facts, as are the stories you KNOW to be true that you have read about or seen with your OWN eyes and ears. Dig for the truth, and it WILL present itself.
There comes a time when EVERYONE should be held accountable for THEIR OWN ACTIONS.
And that MEANS...EVERYONE.
Stop the hand-holding, the court case dismissals, the entitlements, the "feel-good" rhetoric, and start making ALL these people tow the mark. These treasonous blacks in our society apparently are NOT listening to their much more successful "bruthas", or they wouldn't be going around shooting up the damn place, killing anyone for anything at any time, and making everyone else's life a case study in domestic terrorism.But blacks are being unfairly targeted....really?
And blacks are being unjustly incarcerated...really?
Short answer: NO!
Well, when you ACT like a thug, and commit acts of crime (and there are some really SICK people out there...of ALL flavors) , and look to POSSESSIONS instead of looking inward towards self-improvement, don't think it a surprise when YOU are pulled over for blowing that red light and driving erratically, or are arrested for robbing that old lady of her SSI check.You either MAN UP, get your shit in gear, and get busy becoming a PRODUCTIVE member of society (and there are PLENTY of black role models and mentors to look towards, so that's NOT an excuse), OR...you get busy pissing your life away in prison.
YOUR choice...NOT mine.

when i lived in fort wayne the kkk came marching threw waynedale like they owned the joint. i saw black little girls in middle school stoned from the school bus and noone did anything about it except for their parents. the bus driver didnt care. and when i told my mom she said do you want to be stoned? and i was like no. and she was like then stay out of it. race has always been a big thing everywhere in this nation. i worked nights for years and about every night i would see the typical young black man with the older type car pulled over and being searched on I70 in indianapolis. you cant tell me they were all legal. heck, it was the 50's when the last black hanging happened here in indiana. i beleive marion. it was the late 60's before a black man and a white woman could legally marry in the entire united states of america. i remember in 92. taking my black infent daughter to the state fairgrounds for an anitque show and people asking me how did my daughter get so dark. i told them it was me. my color. from my experiances as a white woman with a black child it was pretty racist. it was not fully expected. i was considered a whore at my daughters school. becouse how else would i work nights and bring home a good check.....people tried to bring me down. i went threw so much it is amazing i didnt give up. people tried to even have my child taken away from me. and trust me, i timed it ,it only lasted for about 30 to 45 minutes. though it felt longer. when the school told me what had happened i passed my daughter on the highway going to get her at the place they took her. they said they never saw something like that before. and they fed her lies. soooo as a white woman with a black child that was conserned about my situtation i stayed away from drinking, partying (like i had the time...not), having boyfriends, i stayed away from most things in life. even if a friend smoked i would eventally not be their friend anymore becouse of my daughters asthma.
i firmly beleive that people of darker color have been put to another standard for along time. even on vacation i have experiance racism in the south. this was the first year that i went to florida and didnt experance racism at all. i thank God i bought that timeshare (its mostly black and hispanic in my community at the timeshare) and that obama was voted in for president. without him racism was alot more out there. even in fort wayne.
so this beer thing is probley alot of publicity. but, its for a good thing in the long run.

Like I said...ALL the blacks I grew up with (in Philly) were FANTASTIC people (and I've worked with many who were better than a LOT of whites in several other places), but everyone winds up caving into this "minority OF the minority, (becasue they have the bigger mouths and yell louder) and that, unfortunately causes other raced people to become "cautious" of ALL people of color...
With this mentality...mistakes will be made.
Yet, that's not fair to all the GREAT people of color out there, living good lives, and being excellent examples to their rac, and to this country.
These radical blacks are picking up on this and sucking this up, crying "racism", when in fact THEY are the ones perpetuating it.
I honestly feel for the kids of mixed-race families as well, because too many people don't understand the issues related, nor do they even "want" to acknowledge it.
Hoosiers have a checkered past with all of this...I read the history.
You should NEVER question YOUR methods of raising your child...you have done more than MANY BLACK PARENTS have done (and are doing)...and you've done it pretty damn well, too.

As I sit here and think about this whole "race" issue, one thought keeps coming to mind. Just how many races are there, on the entire planet Earth?? Last time I counted, there was ONE. (yeah, amazing I can count that high) Think about it though. The term "race" in regards to skin color, is just wrong. We all belong to the same race. Color aside, we are all HUMAN. That is the only "race".
I am sick to death of people trying to say they are better than others, because of their "race". Everyone is human, adjust, get a life! (and a job too, while you're a it)
