Weekend Roundup...
Getting closer to Halloween, and we've also got a full moon tomorrow night, and there is not better evidence of this, than what is happening on our streets.
I would say that most EVERY day is Halloween in MY part of the ghettohood, as all of you who read this blog can attest to.
My conundrum seems to be whether I call it HALLOWEEN...or a FREAK SHOW. Either one works pretty damn well when describing the SE.
And we've got the news to prove it...
*** Finally a conviction in this 2008 Fort Wayne murder:
http://www.journalgazette.net/article/20101022/LOCAL03/310229965
Of course this took place near McKinnie & Lillie Sts (one of our ever-growing number of "hotbeds" of activity) in the SE quadrant.
Nice touch adding the SWAT team around the courthouse IN CASE any trouble broke out (and since we all know people like this are SUCH GOOD people, why would there be a fracas in the first place?), and fortunately, none did.
Kevin Franklin already had CONVICTIONS for cocaine possession, and a FEDERAL CONVICTION for possession of a FIREARM BY A FELON.
(nice guy, huh?)
Naturally, when the verdict was handed down, Franklin began to cry (man up, 'ya wuss), and a woman began wailing - these folks LOVE to wail, especially when they can't get away with sh*t, thanks to a judicial system that still manages to "get it right" once in a while.
Another piece of human crap off the streets...with another waiting in the wings to take his place, unfortunately.
It's THEIR version of "The Circle of Life"...flawed as it is.
But wait...there's MORE...
*** In yesterday's story about a man shot to death on the (where else?) SOUTHEAST side, I added the name of the individual, and I also had beaten the coroner to the punch by stating that it WAS the city's 21st homicide...and I'm not a coroner...just a guy with a lot of common sense and a fair amount of street smarts. I can see the writing on the wall (around here) many times before the marker even comes from the pocket.
Here's the latest (link): http://www.journalgazette.net/article/20101022/LOCAL07/310229956/1002/LOCAL Now, Javaris T. Jackson was killed along the 3300 block of Lillie St. (gee, didn't a guy JUST get convicted for a shooting in the relatively SAME area in the previous story?) Seems we have a real PEOPLE PROBLEM in that area...'ya think?
Not enough "gub'ment" give-aways to keep the natives happy?
Let's create MORE.
Better yet, let's NOT...and say we did, OK?
Even better, make them WORK (at something other than crime) so their lazy asses can EARN that freebie...whatta NOVEL IDEA, huh?
I mean there IS plenty of TRASH along our streets (that most of them placed there).
An idle mind IS the devil's playground, and these folks have one HELLUVA set of swings, sliding board, and ball courts!
Oh, yes...there's still more...
*** This story pisses me off ROYALLY, as it should ALL of you.
http://www.journalgazette.net/article/20101022/LOCAL07/310229955
A 14 year old girl was abducted on her way to the school bus stop Wednesday, forcibly RAPED, and then dropped off at another location.
How f$cking SICK is that?
On the damn way to SCHOOL, yet!!!
(can't even TRY and get an education in the ghettohood, can you?)
The story fails to mention that the suspect was a BLACK MALE who was driving an older model burgundy sedan.
Naturally, I went through MY ever-growing list of suspicious vehicles that pass through or stop in MY area, and sent along a short list of TEN burgundy/dark red sedans that are older than 2003 models, complete with license plate numbers (yes, I am STILL good at what I used to do) to the quadrant captain.
Nothing may come of that list, but better to know who is NOT the suspect from the get-go.
Who knows, one of those vehicles MIGHT be the one...you never can tell.
The neighbors in the area that the girl was taken from (Oxford Ave near Gaywood street) is in the same area as the first two stories here, which reinforces my contention that we DO have a PEOPLE PROBLEM in this part of town...period.
Some people in that area believe that "All in all, it's a pretty good neighborhood".
(rolls eyes)
Well, maybe you all should RECONSIDER what you call "good", because it certainly is NOT now (and probably wasn't in the past, but your heads were too far up your own asses to notice).
You could say the same thing about MY neighborhood..."it's pretty good".
Really? Compared to WHAT?
The south side of Chicago?
Detroit?
North Philly?
Take your pick, compared to THOSE places, HELL itself even starts to look pretty decent, relatively-speaking.
Many folks today, have blurred the lines between GOOD and EVIL (that would be the bad stuff).
People have TOLERATED bad behavior, so then it becomes "acceptable"...or even "good", to some degree.
Sorry, that's just wrong.
And when others are INTOLERANT of such behavior, THEY are the ones labelled racist, bigoted, biased, or something akin to that.
Time has come for ALL people of EVERY race, ethnicity, nationality, religion and belief to stand firm AGAINST that which is BAD.
If something seems wrong...it probably IS...right?
If something appears to be dubious in nature, it probably should NOT be pursued.
And if you're in doubt about something like this, be bold enough to ASK QUESTIONS, so YOU can either get the answers straight away, or at least make a more informed decision on YOUR OWN.
It should never be as confusing an issue as others are trying to make it.
Right is right, and wrong is wrong.
No middle ground here...it's real simple.
Cretins like the street thug murderers, the rapist, and even those who are chronically-apathetic have demonstrated time and again how LITTLE they value the future of others.
Perhaps it's time they were themselves denied that which they so readily deny everyone else.
It has the novelty of never having been tried...yet.
Have yourselves a beautiful fall weekend.
Be well, make a difference to someone...and, as always...
Stay safe out there, America.

Having a list of sedan's with plate numbers is like finding a hidden treasure box Bob. I hope they send you nice coffee mug or something at the end of the year.

Coffee mug sounds nice...wouldn't mind having one of those cool hats, either...lol.

I guess I'm still pretty good at what I used to do.
I hope one of them is the culprit, but there are many vehicles even I don;t have listed down here.

My list of vehicles in this area would probably surprise even the FWPD...yes, it's THAT big a list (we're talking close to a THOUSAND different vehicles over six or so years).
And my "photo gallery" is growing as well.

Thanks for taking time to stop on by.

Have a great week.
