They do practice their cuteness, but for a few 15 minute-long "bursts" through the day, they are "hell-on-paws"...LOL.

Other than these brief times, all is very nice, especially when they come to you, bat those big "Baby Groot" eyes and want to get a neck rub.

Hours of calm versus minutes of angst...yeah, it's still worth it all.

It's NOT dandruff...it's SNOW (again).

The furry twosome are fast becoming the most photographed community cats in Fort Wayne.
And as can be expected, they are both where they should be - at the patio door early on for "breakfast".
I think they also are having a time dealing with the roller-coaster weather, because both of them stayed close by the house. Midnight was there most all day, and Whiskers was in a shelter.

They did get a bit snowed on when it was dinner time, but aside from that (and having a slushy water dish), all was pretty much normal. Nice to be wanted, even if it's for a free meal.
At least they appreciate what you do for them a lot more than some people. That means a lot.
*** Last back to the fireplace...the president has his first SOTU message tonight, and there is also this PEOPLES SOTU deal going on (in protest, of course).

Michael Moore and Whoopi Goldberg (who dress like they should be living under some bridge in Fort Wayne) will be at this thing, as will actor Mark Ruffalo (who lost more than a few credibility points in MY book). A shame about that. I'll still watch his portrayal of the Hulk, because (obviously) his FICTIONAL persona is a better person that his actual one.
It takes some of the pleasure out of the movies when those in the films seem to act in a more counter-culture manner.
I like Matt Damon's Jason Bourne, but I'm not a fan of Damon. I love some of Alec Baldwin's characters, but I'm not a fan of HIM either.

I think it puts people who enjoy movies in a quandary...how to properly divorce the actor/actress from the acting.
Used to be a time when actors kept out of the realm of politics (and kept their private lives a lot more private), and we (the movie-goers) were all better off for that.
Politics belongs where it does for a reason, and does not have to inflict itself into every single aspect of our lives. That's our major problem right now.
But hey, that's just my two cents from a regular middle-aged guy who still believes that THIS country is the last best place on the whole planet...and for the right reasons.
