Tuesday Tidbits...

Yesterday wasn't all that bad...once you got over the morning chill.
After that, it was pretty decent.
Today promises to be a bit better, and we know what that means, right?

Hopefully, that won't be the case, but this IS Fort Wayne, where there never seems to be a dull moment (and I could use a few of them about now).
Our Hoosierland weather today brings us partly to mostly sunny skies, with temps trying to climb to around the 55 degree mark. Winds will kick up this afternoon, also.

It would appear that if and when the dems manage to get their way, they will want to grab as much as they can as soon as they can...
Kudos to those LEOs and lawmakers standing against this government intrusion. There are much better ways to deal with this, rather than seizing firearms because a bad bill was passed.
*** Next, here's an update on the Huestis Av dead male:

Ronald Strother, 35, was ID'ed by the coroner's office.
And yes, he's got a decent rap sheet, but ALL for traffic violations (never got a license, DUI, etc.)
He also had various addressees (since 2005). All of them on the SE side.

This took place at the Black Hawk Apartments around 1600 hrs Sunday.

"You got the donuts?"  "I thought YOU did?"

Let's just say police are still trying to figure this one out (as usual).

Police were called to a house located at 5419  Harrison St around 1200 hrs. They found a dead male inside the house.

"Sarge brought the donuts. I saw him."

Looks like homicide  #6 (the media will probably say #5)...we'll see.
The "locals" are playing "catch up" no doubt.
*** Next up, time to stop on by our "Kitten Corner"...

Our children had another pretty good day, and that meant I wasn't wondering what they were getting into, which is always a happy thing.

"And I iz trying to stay awake."

You hear enough odd noises from outside the "Fortress", so you don't need to hear such sounds emanating from inside.
It was a day of rest, or should I say a day TO rest. Nothing wrong with that from where I stand.
*** Next, let's do our daily check in with "Midnight and Whiskers"...

After that early morning cold spell, things began to thaw back out, and both cats were here for all three meals...(and after dinner treats).

"She has NO sense of feline dignity AT all."

Any roaming about was confined to close by, so there was only one time I had to shake my keys to get Midnight to return, so I know he's not that far away. He came sauntering up the lawn back to the patio, where he stayed until sundown.
Whiskers always keeps a lookout for him when he does go on his patrols.
*** Last back to the basement... I've noticed that for the past several days, the number of PAGE VIEWS have been over 300+ per day.

That's kinda odd, considering the number of comments doesn't begin to come close to reflecting the views(which average a little over a hundred a weekday, less on weekends), but the majority of views has been from the USofA and not Russia or China.  Weird, huh?

Guess I'm on someone's "watch list"? Nice to be "popular".
I'm waiting for the black helicopters to circle, anyway. Can't be too careful.
I will say that whoever is paying attention might even accidentally LEARN something by stopping here...lol.
