Okay, so this current administration "says" they don't want to intrude on your 2nd Amendment rights, and you're fine and dandy with that...and this old world will keep revolving along, correct?
Maybe not...
(if some folks have THEIR way)
There has been yet another "shot across the bow" of LIBERTY in this nation, and it has to do with gun rights (again).
But, like I've said here often, it's clouded in misdirection, so be on your toes.

Now these folks obviously want you to give up that firearm...it's BAD for your health.
(no, it's actually BAD for the health of anyone that tries to break into my house, or otherwise accost me violently on my property)

Now this story relates a "campaign" by the NIH (National Institutes of Health) to "investigate" certain behaviors and gun-related deaths, while stating it is a "health" problem.

There ARE people in Washington that seriously WANT to take away YOUR RIGHT to own a firearm.
And they found a damn sneaky way to do it.
These buttwipes KNOW they can't DIRECTLY seize them, so they're trying a more INDIRECT route (watch that other hand), namely, claiming that firearms deaths are a HEALTH problem, and that's where they can even get the World Health Organization involved. (firearms...a disease..thought that crime was the disease???)
Guns are bad for your health...there, I said it again.
Well, guns in the WRONG HANDS of certain people most definitely are, that's a fact. Look at ANY homicide rate in ANY major city to see that much IS true. People have this "thing" about killing other people...with guns. And it works. (when you HIT what you AIM at, that is) Trouble with THAT train of thought, is that there are a LOT MORE people who DO practice gun safety, ARE law-abiding, and have no thoughts about wanting to do another person grievous bodily harm in the commission of a crime against another person (or society).

It's people like THIS who stand for reason.
They have a gun to PROTECT themselves and their loved ones.
They have a gun because it is their 2nd Amendment RIGHT as an American.
They have a gun because they enjoy going to the range and dusting off some targets.
But, there is a lot of midnight oil being burned behind a lot of closed doors to see that this doesn't occur in the future.
How's about Obama ALLOWS you to OWN a gun....BUT (uh, oh, I don't like the sound of that "but"...)...he forces you to get INSURANCE on that firearm, much like CAR insurance...and the COST of that coverage is ASTRONOMICAL in price.
You NEED that firearm coverage because WITHOUT it, this government-run, socialist "health-care" plan is something you will NOT be able to take part in...UNLESS you get rid of that gun. No gun...cheaper rates with no "liability insurance" to worry about, and you can get coverage.
Nice, huh?

It IS...and YOU are squarely in their "crosshairs" on this one.
It's a marvelously insidious manner to disarm the mass populace, and is one of the FIRST things Hitler did when he came to power in Germany back in the 1930s.
George Mason (one of our Founding Fathers) once said: "To disarm the people (is) the best and most effectual way to enslave them."
Seems that "someone" (now) wants to enslave us, right?
And if we take the word "enslave" to mean CONTROL, I think you can plainly see WHERE this might be heading.
Let's face it, this administration WANTS control...of damn near everything within it's field of view (and then some).
They want to CONTROL your choice of (and to) health-care.
They want to CONTROL what you eat, smoke, drink, and even breathe.
They want to CONTROL your children (mmm, mmm, mmm).
They want to CONTROL what you watch on TV or hear on the radio.
They want YOU to be subservient to THEM, when it is THEY who are actually the CIVIL SERVANTS.
And now...THEY want to CONTROL your RIGHT to own a firearm by a "backdoor" idea they plan to implement.
If they cannot legally take the guns away from you...they'll just take away your ability to KEEP that gun with high fines, premiums, or taxes (just) so you can "keep" it. You might just get rid of that gun, in order to be able to pay for this Obamacare plan, right?
That's WHAT they want...plain and simple.
Now, everyone with half a brain knows that "When guns become outlawed (by whatever means and in whatever guise it takes)...then only the outlaws HAVE guns".
But that's OK, because the government WANTS you docile...AND unarmed.
Remember...it's a "HEALTH CONCERN".
They just want you to be "healthier"...and to live longer (to pay for all the crap this government has managed to accumulate in less than a year), so what's really WRONG with that, hmm?
Yeah, right...tell that to the street thug, who will (somehow) STILL manage to get a gun and use it.
This is always NEVER about GUN control...it IS about PEOPLE CONTROL, and if the government gets it's way, it'll be about CONTROLLING YOU in one more facet of your life (as if you really need that).
They can't "control" the criminals, so the government will control EVERYONE...not the BEST solution, just the ONLY one they can come up with.
Liberty will be defined in this possible future as being something we USED to have...along with GUNS...and FREEDOM...and something we called the U.S. Constitution...and the Declaration of Independence...and the Bill of Rights.
I can see them take the torch from the Statue of Liberty's hand, and replace it with a SHOVEL (we're gonna need a big one to get rid of the bullsh*t we'll all be up to our shoulders in).
Watch for deception...we cautious of every single politician, and never be afraid to turn over every single "rock" in the pursuit of the TRUTH, because "they" sure don't want YOU to find it.
Be vigilant...be wary...and be prepared.
Fight for what is right, and never back down from asking questions and demanding answers, instead of smoke and mirrors.
This is not a "fun house"...this is our nation's future at stake here.
And we DO have a vested interest in it...as do our children...and their children.
