Happy Easter, Bob G.

Great post! I agree.

The name "Easter" is a pagan goddess - "Eastre"(Anglo-Saxon), "Ostara" (Norse) and "Eostre" (Teutonic).

Perhaps it is now time to call the holiday "Jesus' Resurrection Day" provided of course that we break the present link of the date from dependence on the lunar cycle.

On another subject, your blog page now displays correctly on Firefox and Chrome.

THanks ...I now have the official approval of the police in Wyoming!

I will sleep better knowing that...trust me!
(*wink*)

Hope you and Bug have a wondeful day (I know the sunsets are GORGEOUS - that alone would be plenty for me)

ROll safe.

Yo be honest, I didn;t change anything but the background color on my blog, but I HAVE notuiced that posting under "compose" in pretty much back to normal...musy been a glitch on THEIR end (like I said)...
Who knew?

As to renaming the day for the CORRECT religious conotation, I;d run with something a bit MORE apropos.
Nordic, Teutonic and Anglo-Xason you say?
(oh my)

Well, if I HAD to pick a bunch of PAGANS, I'd prefer ODIN and his bunch of revellers.

And YES, we'd definitely HAVE to toss that JULIAN calendar for sure.

Thanks for stopping on by today.
ANd have yourself a blessed Jesus Resurrection Day.

Stay safe out there.
