Humpday Happenings...
This is going to be short and sweet, because we have a change in the date of our "big dig" in the yard...TODAY, and that was precipitated by (yet) another backup in the basement...
I went down around 0615 hrs, and we had a very small area inundated...backed up again (more often than this computer...lol)
After mopping up 5 pails of water (and after Wifey left for school/work), which was mostly bath water, I went back down for #6...
That's when I saw the drain had miraculously...CLEARED ITSELF...
((...ahem...))
Well now, THAT'S a first!
This was around 0710 hrs, and I stood there utterly A-f$cking-mazed!
Still, when Roto-Rooter called me back, they said they were gearing up the guys for a run here TODAY...
Well, seems that rain we're supposed to get won't be here until LATER...so the weather-folks  are claiming.
And who am I to question such things?
*** So, that's where we stand right now....awaiting the arrival of the gentlemen who will take down a section of our fence to get that Bobcat inside for the digging.
I do plan to capture the "event" on my camera.
And, I've already cut back the shrub to make that section of chain-link come down EASIER (I'm such a GOOD customer...lol), and I've got my "I don't care how frigging dirty I get today" clothes on, just in case. Hey, you never know, right?
I will be providing updates when I can.
One of our Irises, just to break up the banality.
In the interim, enjoy the Hoosierland weather while you can - temps will be rising into the low 80s, a slight breeze, and the possibility of rain later than sooner this evening into tonight and through tomorrow.
*** And, in case you think I forgot (shame on you)... here, is the WHO SAID THAT? quote of the week.
"You don't develop courage by being happy in your relationships everyday. You develop it by surviving difficult times and challenging adversity."
So, WHO would say that (other than me on a day like this)?
You might be surprised.
The answer at the top of tomorrow's post.
In the meanwhile...
Be well, make a difference to someone, and...
Stay SAFE out there, America..

((UPDATE - 1715 HRS - There is LOTS to tell, and I'd rather tell it all on the morrow, if that's okay with everyone. I have taken pictures and need to upload them, and I need to rest, as I've been "assisting" the two fantastic guys that came out today. Stay tuned for the review of this day in THURSDAY'S blog post. Thanks, gang! ))

Ahhh... now I know why you haven't been by the Tuesday WWI post. Understandable. Take a breather, Robert.

Thanks for taking time to stop by. brother.
