Tuesday Tidbits...

Welcome to the day before the day before Thanksgiving.
And it looks to be another chilly start to the day, but never fear - we ARE expected to top out around FORTY DEGREES today, and no precipitation to bother us. Good to see this stuff melting, too.
I think we had plenty (of snow) until Christmas.
Still might see some mostly cloudy skies, though.
So, join me in getting a nice warm cup of whatever we decide to have, as we see what's going on elsewhere.

Being right just never gets old for me.
But, when you take the time to become informed and watch...and listen, it becomes much easier to know the FACTS...and the TRUTH.
*** Next up, and speaking of truth, Pat Miller had a good show yesterday (actually, he never has a BAD one).

WOWO's afternoon radio guru.

He was talking yesterday about how our mayor, "King" Henry has signed on to this letter from another 61 mayors who SUPPORT having all these Syrian "refugees" coming here.
This is such a hot topic with lots of people, and deservedly so...
But there is one thing people have GOT to start doing, and that's to fully delineate the DIFFERENCE between what a REFUGEE is...and what an IMMIGRANT is.

Wow, there IS a difference.

There is a HUGE one, trust me on this.
Immigrants WANT to come here...to BECOME an American. They want to embrace the American culture (and are still free to retain their own)
A refugee is taken from their OWN land and "deposited" HERE..in OUR country, our states and our cities...without ANY say in it at all...to ANYONE.
Hell, even the governors of the states are not told (bu the feds) exactly how many arrive and where they are placed. Why is that?
The feds use NON-GOVERNMENTAL "agencies" to relocate them...like a (religious) charity or such.
And YOU don't even know about it, until AFTER the fact...nice, huh?
Well, if you're a regular reader, you DO get a heads-up, because I want OUR America for AMERICANS (and I want our Americans to be informed).
If, by liberal definitions, that makes me a bigot...them's the breaks. So be it. Liberals don't seem to like this country anyway. They should be relocated.
Every single immigrant through our history has assimilated into OUR society and OUR culture and not the other way around. I don't think we should CHANGE a letter of that in ANY way, because it has WORKED.

Our king wants more subjects (in the facade of "compassion"), like all of them would suddenly WANT to be Americans...bullshit.
Not gonna happen. Send THESE infidels back to THEIR nation for a change.
*** Next up,  Wifey is looking at some oral surgery, and anything remotely alluding to such things makes ME damn near sick. Gives me the cold sweats.
As much as I don't like physicians all that much, dentists and oral surgeons are something I fear more than drowning in the middle of the ocean all by myself.

Not really my cup of tea.

Not that much scares me in life (at my age anyway), but I'm not into people "mining" in my mouth, and I've been under the knife when I was younger, and have no desire to repeat such an "event" again.
Besides, docs these days have a nasty habit of leaving stuff INSIDE you - things that don't NEED to be left there. Surgical tools and sponges are the most common and can cause sepsis fast enough, like you don;' have enough to worry about, right?
I do have to drive Wifey there (and back) and she'll be a tad on the "loopy" side (I think) if the pain meds are efficacious enough, so we shall see. Just in time for Turkey Day, too...how nice.
*** Next, still have not seen Mr. Wrinkles since Friday afternoon. Patches came by Saturday, and that's been that, except for two squirrels, one of which I have named "Zippy", due to his running the hell away when I try to feed him (whatta duffus).

NO name for this little guy...yet.

The other one at least stayed around long enough to get the peanuts I tossed his/her way, and I got to take a photo, in case he decides to make our place HIS place (as have others before him).
Still watching for my "buddy", though. Might be a long wait.
*** Last back to the table...I would love to know when ALL real Americans are going to take a stand, put their collective feet down, and tell our elected lawmakers what they NEED to do, rather than what THEY want to do when it comes to preserving and defending OUR country.

Except for "refugees"?

After all, we can't help OTHER nations if ours turns into a shambles...can we?
Cripes, WE'LL be asking for help then, right?
Don't want to see us go that road one damn bit. And we should never HAVE to.
We need to start making a fuss...a BIG fuss and start wresting our nation back from those bent on changing it into something it was never designed to become.
And today is as good a day as any to get that ball rolling, hmm?
Maybe it's time that everyone started to learn that, for their own good, and the good of our country.
